Mad March Kale Crisps
Mad March Kale Crisps
Nutritious Kale is in season until the end of March and is generally regarded as a superfood. It is rich in Vitamins A, C, E, K, magnesium, iron, calcium and antioxidants. I grow stacks of it hence the long list of great things you can do with it but the latest recipe is delicious and I get a thumbs up from my family.
Kale Crisps
I choose bunches of fresh looking small leaves and I store them in the fridge straight after I have picked them.
Wash well and dry on paper towels
Then chop off the tough ends and remove the leaf stems which go up the middle.
Each leaf is then torn into bit-sized pieces.
Then place leaves into a bowl and drizzle with 1 tbsp Olive Oil and a sprinkling of sea salt.
Mix gently together
Place on a tray in a single layer on baking parchment and cook for 10mins at 150C or until crispy.
Enjoy your nutritious vegetable crisp….
