GLORIOUS GREEN TOMATO CHUTNEY.Why do tomatoes take so long to ripen and then all come at once ready for the end of summer when you no longer want salad.  Or just die after weeks of care from blight leaving an exasperated gardener swearing never to do that again.  But do not despair, I have a great recipe to salvage a little and turn it into a delicious Autumn treat.What you will need -1.35kg of Green Tomatoes 350gms Onions finely chopped 350gms Cooking Apples- peeled, cored and finely chopped 900mls Pickling Vinegar 350gms White or Brown Sugar 2 Garlic cloves

Wonderful Winter Fruit Leather is great for kids and they cant get enough of it!! and fantastic for using up Apples, fresh or frozen plus Blackberries, Raspberries and any buried frozen fruit found in the Freezer!!
