A little Private Haven

For this garden, the dilemma was simple: the couple wanted more space to enjoy quality time with family—both young and old—while also incorporating a sense of privacy in a space unusable currently.

Maximising every available inch, we integrated a beautiful existing quince and olive tree into the transformation. The previously neglected, sloping area was reimagined as a level terrace, layered with lush planting contained within raised sleeper beds. This created a vibrant and colourful oasis, seamlessly blending structure with nature.

The redesigned space now provides ample room for lounging, dining, barbecuing, and sunbathing, making it the perfect outdoor retreat. To enhance the modern aesthetic, new steps were introduced, while sleek horizontal fencing concealed the once-bare wall, which is now adorned with evergreen, scented climbers—adding both privacy and year-round fragrance to the space.
